Standards and industry groups
Intel supports global standards by participating in their development and designing them into our products. Pursuing the latest in technological advancement, Intel is working with more than 250 standards and industry groups worldwide to help facilitate growth and expansion of the industry as a whole:

- Modular Communications Platforms
Modular Communications Platforms (MCPs) based on Intel® building blocks enable you to deploy new services, minimize expenses, and generate new revenue streams. - Serial ATA
Serial ATA provides the industry with guidance and support for 15 year old technology with a high speed serial bus supporting up to 10 years of future expansion. - Non-Volatile Memory Host Controller Interface Specification
The Non-Volatile Memory Host Controller Interface (NVMHCI) specification developed by Intel, describes the registry-level interface for platform non-volatile memory solutions.
